What is KLOW80?

KLOW80 is a combined research peptide complex in one vial, joining four peptides: GHK-Cu 50 mg (copper tripeptide), KPV 10 mg (anti-inflammatory tripeptide), BPC-157 10 mg (pentadecapeptide) and TB-500 10 mg (a fragment of Thymosin β-4). It belongs to the “GLOW” family (GLOW50, GLOW70), adding an anti-inflammatory axis through KPV.

The four components cover complementary pathways: matrix and collagen remodelling (GHK-Cu), angiogenesis and tissue repair (BPC-157), cell migration (TB-500) and regulation of inflammation through NF-κB (KPV) — structural regeneration and an anti-inflammatory axis in one vial.

At present there is no published peer-reviewed study of this four-way combination; each component has been studied separately, mainly in preclinical models, so the synergy is a mechanistic hypothesis and not a proven result.

At Peptology it is supplied as a lyophilised powder with purity above 99% (see certificates), with a price in Cyprus and pay on delivery. Exclusively for research purposes; it is not a medicine. See also the other peptides for energy and regeneration.

The four components and their mechanisms

GHK-Cu · 50 mg

Copper tripeptide (Gly-His-Lys-Cu). Studied as a copper carrier and signalling molecule, linked to the synthesis of collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans and to matrix remodelling.

KPV · 10 mg

C-terminal tripeptide of α-MSH (Lys-Pro-Val). Studied for anti-inflammatory action through inhibition of NF-κB, without melanocortin activity.

BPC-157 · 10 mg

Synthetic pentadecapeptide. In preclinical models it is linked to angiogenesis (VEGFR2, Akt-eNOS axis) and repair of tendons, muscles and the gastrointestinal tract.

TB-500 · 10 mg

Active fragment of Thymosin β-4. Binds G-actin and supports cell migration; in preclinical data, angiogenesis and tissue regeneration.

GHK-Cu — collagen and matrix

GHK-Cu is a natural copper tripeptide, linked to an increase in collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans and to remodelling of the extracellular matrix. It supplies copper in a bioavailable form and is studied for antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

KPV — anti-inflammatory axis

KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide of α-MSH. It is studied for suppression of pro-inflammatory signals through NF-κB, without activation of melanocortin receptors. This component differentiates KLOW80 from typical GLOW blends.

BPC-157 — angiogenesis and regeneration

BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide. In preclinical models it is linked to pro-angiogenic action (VEGFR2, Akt-eNOS axis), fibroblast migration, collagen synthesis and repair of tendons, muscles, bone and the gastrointestinal tract.

TB-500 — cell migration

TB-500 is a synthetic analogue of the active region of Thymosin β-4. It binds G-actin, drives cell migration and, in preclinical data, is linked to VEGF-mediated angiogenesis and recruitment of stem cells.

Why this combination

GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500 act on structural regeneration (matrix, angiogenesis, cell migration), while KPV adds an independent anti-inflammatory axis. In a research context it allows simultaneous study of structural repair and the inflammatory response. There is no clinical study of the four-way formula; the synergy is a mechanistic hypothesis.

Difference between KLOW80 and GLOW70?

Both are based on BPC-157 + GHK-Cu + TB-500. KLOW80 adds KPV (10 mg) as an anti-inflammatory axis, 80 mg in total.

Is there a study of the combination?

No. The components were studied separately in preclinical models; a peer-reviewed study of the four-way formula is lacking. The synergy is a mechanistic hypothesis.

Is KLOW80 better than GLOW70?

KLOW80 builds on GLOW70 (BPC‑157 + GHK‑Cu + TB‑500) by adding KPV 10 mg – a separate anti-inflammatory axis. 80 mg of active peptides in total. Which is more suitable depends on the aim of the research – there is no direct comparative study between the two blends.

Can it be combined with other peptides?

In research protocols it is examined together with peptides such as SS‑31 or NAD+ for the simultaneous study of structural and energetic regeneration. This is a scientific interest, not a recommendation for use .

Research protocols

Important: Summary of ranges from the literature for similar “GLOW” blends, for scientific reference only — not a recommendation for use or medical advice.

  • The 80 mg vial is usually reconstituted with ~3–4 mL of liquid.
  • In protocols for similar blends, ~2–2.5 mg/day for ~4 weeks is reported, with a 2–4 week pause.
  • The concentration is determined by the reconstitution volume and the aims of the research.

Storage and reconstitution

  • Before reconstitution: lyophilised, at −20 °C, away from light and moisture.
  • After reconstitution: refrigerator 2–8 °C, up to ~30 days; no re-freezing.
  • Reconstitution: add the liquid slowly down the wall of the vial; swirl, do not shake.

For reconstitution we recommend Peptide Matrix Water™; alternatively, bacteriostatic water.

Laboratory protocol — reconstitution, research protocols, storage

Standard protocol, applicable to all research peptides in the Peptology catalogue. For the concentration of the solution (mg/mL) per vial, use the peptide reconstitution calculator.

The 60-second protocol

2. RECONSTITUTION

The solvent is added to the wall of the vial, without agitation, then wait 10–15 minutes.

3. CALCULATION

Calculator → concentration in mg/mL

4. STORAGE

+2 °C to +8 °C, up to 60 days with Peptide Matrix Water

Quick reference

Parameter Value
Form Lyophilised powder
Solvent Peptide Matrix Water
Volume for reconstitution 1–3 mL — 3 mL maximum (capacity of the standard vial)
Storage before reconstitution Room temperature, protected from direct light (refrigeration is not mandatory)
After reconstitution Up to 60 days at +2 °C to +8 °C with Peptide Matrix Water

What you will need

Precision pipette

Calibrated, 100–1000 µL — for accurate measurement of the volume of solvent added to the vial.

70% alcohol pads

Two pads — to disinfect the peptide vial and the solvent vial.

Peptide Matrix Water

Stabilised solvent for lyophilised peptides. Why this one.

Five rules for reconstitution

✅ Correct ❌ Wrong
Disinfect the stoppers and the work surface with 70% alcohol, work with gloves Working without disinfection
The solvent is added slowly down the wall of the vial Direct jet onto the powder — foaming and denaturation
Light swirling between the palms Shaking — foam, on which the peptides denature
Wait 10–15 minutes at room temperature Mechanical mixing or heating
Visual inspection: clear, without particles Using a cloudy or coloured solution

Calculating the concentration

⚠️ Maximum 3 mL of solvent. The standard vial does not allow a larger volume — do not exceed it during reconstitution.

  • Concentration (mg/mL) = mg in the vial ÷ mL of solvent
  • Volume per sample (mL) = amount per sample (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL)
  • 1 mg/mL = 1 µg/µL · 1 mL = 1000 µL

👉 For any vial and solvent volume — use the calculator. It calculates the concentration (mg/mL, µg/µL) and the volume per sample (mL, µL).

Storage

BEFORE RECONSTITUTION

Room temperature, protected from direct light, in the original packaging. Refrigeration is not mandatory.

AFTER RECONSTITUTION

+2 °C to +8 °C, up to 60 days with Peptide Matrix Water. Discard the remainder after this period.

FREEZING

Not recommended. Freeze/thaw cycles degrade the structure of the peptide.

Four mistakes to avoid

1. Shaking for “faster dissolution”

Foam = denaturation. Only gentle swirling between the palms.

2. Unsuitable solvent

For the stability of the peptide structure, use only a sterile, purpose-designed solvent — Peptide Matrix Water is recommended.

3. Ignoring slight cloudiness

If it is not completely clear = the sample does not meet the criteria for work.

4. Removing it from the refrigerator “for an hour or two”

Short exposures add up and jeopardise stability.
