What are research peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids (2–50). Peptology offers synthetic peptides in lyophilised form exclusively for laboratory and in vitro research. They are not medicines and are not intended for human or veterinary use.

What is the purity and where do I find the certificate of analysis?
Every batch is tested by HPLC and mass spectrometry (MS) and the purity is above 99%. The certificate of analysis (COA) for the current batch is on the page of each product, in the “Laboratory analysis” tab.

What does the order include?
You receive the sealed vial with the lyophilised powder. The solvent (Peptide Matrix Water, bacteriostatic water or 0.6% acetic acid) is sold separately in the Peptide Solutions category.

What does reconstitution mean in the laboratory?
Reconstitution is the dissolving of the lyophilised powder in a sterile solvent so as to obtain a solution of known concentration. The solvent is added slowly down the wall of the vial, without shaking, and the solution is left for 10–15 minutes at room temperature. You calculate the concentration (mg/mL) with the Peptide Calculator .

How are peptides stored before reconstitution?
For short periods, e.g. during transport, room temperature is suitable. For long-term storage a refrigerator (2–8 °C) or freezer (−20 °C) is recommended, in the original packaging, protected from light and moisture.

How is the solution stored after reconstitution?
In the refrigerator, at +2 to +8 °C. Stability depends on the solvent: up to 60 days with Peptide Matrix Water and up to 28 days with bacteriostatic water. Freezing is not recommended, because freeze/thaw cycles degrade the peptide.

How do I place an order?
You add the products to the cart and complete the order without mandatory registration. You receive a confirmation email and, as soon as the parcel is dispatched, the tracking number.

What payment methods do you offer?
Pay on delivery at no extra charge: at BOX NOW you pay by card, through the link that BOX NOW sends you by SMS and email. Bank transfer is available only for business accounts.
