Important preliminary notice

Peptology is a trade name/online shop operated by the company ONLAYN SHOP EKSPRES EOOD, a single-member limited liability company, registered in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Peptology offers research peptides and scientific materials intended exclusively for scientific and research purposes and for in vitro applications in a laboratory environment.

The products offered on this website:

• are not approved medicinal products,
• are not medicines,
• are not intended for use, intake or administration to humans or animals,
• are not therapeutic agents,
• do not diagnose, treat, prevent, relieve or address any medical condition, disease or symptom.

By submitting an order through this website, the User expressly confirms that they understand and accept the above.

These General Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the relationship between ONLAYN SHOP EKSPRES EOOD, as provider/seller, and every user of the online shop available at https://en.peptology.cy (“Website”).

Please read these Terms carefully. Use of the Website and the submission of an order imply full and unreserved acceptance of them.

2. User

“User” means any natural or legal person who uses the Website and/or submits an order through it and who:

• has reached the age of 18 and has full legal capacity,
• acts within the framework of a lawful scientific, research, academic, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnological or related professional purpose,
• fully accepts these Terms,
• confirms that they order the products exclusively for scientific and research purposes and in vitro applications.

II. Definitions

Website: The Provider's online shop, available at https://en.peptology.cy.

Research peptide / Product: A synthetically produced peptide or related scientific material, offered exclusively for scientific and research purposes, laboratory experiments and in vitro applications. It is not a medicinal product within the meaning of Directive 2001/83/EC and the relevant applicable legislation.

Order: A request to purchase Products submitted by the User through the electronic platform of the Website.

Delivery: The dispatch of the physical Products by the Provider to the User through a licensed courier service or other equivalent transport service.

In vitro application: Use of the Product outside a living organism, such as in a test tube, dish, cell culture or other controlled laboratory environment, within the framework of research activity.

III. Eligibility of Users

The Website and the Products offered through it are intended exclusively for persons and organisations active in a scientific, research or laboratory field.

By submitting an order, the User declares and warrants that:

• they have reached the age of 18,
• they have a lawful and legitimate scientific and research purpose for the order,
• they have the required knowledge, equipment and conditions for the safe handling of research materials,
• they do not intend to use the Products for intake, administration or application to humans or animals,
• they do not intend to use the Products for any medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, veterinary, cosmetic or consumer purpose,
• they do not intend to resell, redistribute or transfer the Products to persons who may use them for impermissible, non-research or unregulated purposes.

The Provider reserves the right to refuse, cancel or not execute an order if it has reasonable suspicion that the User does not meet the above conditions or that the order is not being placed for a lawful scientific and research purpose.

IV. Purpose and Use of the Products

All Products offered on the Website are:

1. Exclusively for scientific and research purposes, such as laboratory analyses, in vitro experiments, chemical or biological characterisation and educational demonstrations in an academic or research environment.
2. Not approved as medicinal products in Cyprus, in Bulgaria, in the European Union or in any other jurisdiction, unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. Not intended for use in humans or animals, whether orally, by injection, topically or by any other means of introduction or application to a living organism.
4. Not therapeutic agents and not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, relief or management of any medical condition, disease or symptom.
5. Not foods, not food supplements, not cosmetic products and not medical devices.

The User understands and accepts that any information on the Website about mechanisms of action, scientific studies, preclinical or clinical data, biological properties or possible research applications is provided exclusively for scientific information.

This information does not constitute medical advice, instructions for use, a dosage recommendation, a therapeutic suggestion or encouragement for use in humans or animals.

V. Orders and Delivery

1. Order process

Orders are submitted electronically through the Website.

When submitting an order, the User is obliged to provide accurate, complete and truthful delivery and contact details.

On completing the order, the User confirms their agreement to these Terms through a mandatory selection on the electronic order form, including confirmation that they:

• they have reached the age of 18,
• accept the General Terms,
• order the Products exclusively for scientific and research purposes.

2. Delivery times and terms

The Products are shipped through a courier service or other equivalent delivery service.

Indicative delivery times depend on the availability of the Product, the country of delivery and the courier service.

The Provider makes reasonable efforts for the timely processing and dispatch of orders, but is not liable for delays due to third-party service providers, customs procedures, force majeure, incorrect delivery details or other circumstances outside its direct control.

During shipment, the User may receive an SMS or email with a tracking link, where provided by the courier service.

Shipments may be made in discreet, non-transparent packaging.

VI. Payment

The available payment methods are displayed when the order is completed.

They may include, by way of example:

• pay on delivery, where available,
• card payment,
• bank transfer on request,
• other available methods supported by the Website.

The Provider reserves the right to restrict or modify the available payment methods by country, order type or customer category.

VII. Returns, Withdrawal and Complaints

Due to the special nature of research peptides and the requirements for stability, purity and integrity of the packaging, returns are subject to the following terms:

1. Right of withdrawal (14 days). As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the Products, without giving a reason. It is sufficient to send us a clear statement before the deadline expires (e.g. an email to support@peptology.bg with the order number) and to return the Products no later than 14 days after the statement. We refund all amounts you paid, together with the original shipping cost, within 14 days of the withdrawal statement, by the same payment method (for pay on delivery: by bank transfer to the account you indicate to us). We may withhold the refund until we receive the Products or proof that you have sent them. The direct cost of the return is borne by the consumer.
2. Exception. In accordance with European and Cypriot consumer protection legislation, withdrawal does not apply to sealed products that were unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene. For this reason opened vials, reconstituted solutions, products with a broken seal or products that have been kept outside the prescribed storage conditions are not accepted.
3. Complaints or claims about a defective Product, wrong dispatch or non-conformity with the order must be submitted in writing to support@peptology.bg within 7 days of receipt, accompanied by photographs, the order number and a detailed description.
4. In the event of a well-founded complaint, the Provider may, as the case may be, replace the Product or refund the amount paid.

The above applies without prejudice to the mandatory rights that may be granted to the User by the applicable consumer protection legislation of the European Union and of their country of residence, where these apply.

VIII. User Responsibility

The User bears full and exclusive responsibility for:

• compliance with the applicable legislation of their jurisdiction regarding the purchase, possession, storage, use, transport and destruction of research peptides and scientific materials,
• the correct handling of the Products in accordance with appropriate laboratory safety standards,
• the use of the Products exclusively for the declared scientific and research purposes,
• any consequence arising from use of the Products in a manner contrary to their purpose or to these Terms.

The Provider does not support, encourage or approve any use of the Products outside scientific, research or laboratory activity.

IX. Regulatory Status

Peptology / ONLAYN SHOP EKSPRES EOOD is a supplier of research and scientific materials.

The Provider:

• is not a pharmacy,
• is not a distributor of medicinal products,
• is not a healthcare provider,
• does not offer medical advice, diagnosis or treatment,
• does not provide prescriptions or medical recommendations,
• does not act as an intermediary for the supply or distribution of medicinal products.

The Provider offers the Products as research materials outside the context of their use as medicines, medical devices, food supplements, foods or cosmetics.

Users seeking medical advice, treatment, diagnosis or a medicinal product must contact a licensed doctor, pharmacist or other competent healthcare professional.

X. Limitation of Liability

The Products are provided “as is”, without express or implied warranty for a particular use, result or suitability beyond compliance with the stated specifications and, where provided, with the relevant laboratory certificate of analysis.

The Provider is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use, misuse, unauthorised use or inability to use the Products, unless this liability cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable legislation.

The Provider is not liable for damage caused by use of the Products in a manner contrary to their declared research purpose, these Terms or the applicable legislation.

The information on the Website about scientific studies, mechanisms, biological activity or research applications is provided exclusively for informational and scientific purposes and does not constitute a guarantee of result for any particular Product or experiment.

The Provider reserves the right to modify the range of Products, prices, descriptions, available payment methods, shipping methods and these Terms without prior notice. Changes take effect from their publication on the Website.

XI. Amendments to the Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time.

The new version is published on the Website and applies from the date of its publication, unless stated otherwise.

Continued use of the Website after the publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. This does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Website or orders placed through it will be resolved first amicably.

If an amicable resolution is not reached, the dispute falls under the competent courts of the Republic of Cyprus; the consumer may always also bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.

The competent authority for consumer protection in Cyprus is the Consumer Protection Service of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry (2 Agapinoros Street, IRIS Tower, 1076 Nicosia · Consumer Line 1429 · consumer.gov.cy), to which you can submit a complaint. Because the Provider is established in another EU Member State (Bulgaria), for free assistance in a cross-border dispute you can also contact the European Consumer Centre Cyprus (ecccyprus.gov.cy).

• understand that the Products are not medicines, food supplements, foods, cosmetics or medical devices.
